The T-shank blade (or bayonet) has to be turned a quarter turn in order to release, once the holding screw has been released.
The quill is hollow and the screw is accessed from the top by a slim screwdriver, a long allen key or a tool integrated into the saw itself depending on whether it is aimed at the basic or luxury market.
The top of the quill must be accessed by removing a cover or whatever an intuitive process indicates.
The manual indicates that there is a hole at the top of the handle and a screwdriver included with the jig saw. Insert the screwdriver in the hole and loosen the the set screw about 3 or 4 revolutions.
