You'll need to remove the top end (cylinder and head. Then remove the rest of the engine from the frame. Remove all side covers. Using the proper puller, pull the flywheel and remove waterpump. Remove clutch basket and primary gear from crank and transmission shaft. Remove drive sprocket. Remove all case bolts and using a case splitting tool, pull the 2 case halves apart to expose crankshaft and transmission. This is a very involved project and having a manual for reference and scematics is highly recommended.
