Remove the motor from the pump. Unscrew the 4 through bolts located at rear of motor. Tunr the 1/4" hex screw located at the front of the motor next to the shaft 1/4 turn counter clockwise. Tap the front housing until it is removed (may need a bearing puller to remove it. Once this is removed, use a bearing puller to remove the bearing. Next, use 12" long piece or 3/4" metal electrical conduit to tap the new bearing into place making sure that the conduit is only coming in contact with the RACE of the bearing (the inner most track).
Reassemble.
Note: A molded bearing puller is needed fot this job. A formed puller will just bend/break. It would cost less money to pay $75 to have this done by a proffesional rather than buying a $100-$200 tool just to try to do it yourself.
