How do i reset my dvr that i have been locked out of?
I set my dvr to my own personal settings and saved them. we recently had a power outtage and my dvr went through an irregular shut down and reboot well now its telling me my password is incorrect and my user nameis incorrect i know its not so i continued to try it until the dvr completely locked me out now i just want to smash it in to a million pieces but i need it soim tryingthe option ofcontacting you for a little assistance to get it factory reset so i can have access to it once more. please help me so idont destroy my security device. thank you

First, you need to tell us the make and model of your machine.
Then, we will tell you to go to the manufacturer's website and get the user manual, and look for instructions to do a reset to factory default, then use the default passwords to log back on to it and re-set it up with your own pass.
