If you have not got a Restore CD then contact Lenovo to purchase a Recovery CD for your model laptop. The other way is to do a new Windows install. Use a Windows installation CD; it must match the Windows version on the Windows Product Code label on the bottom of your laptop. You will also need to download the device drivers for your model laptop from the Lenovo WEB support site, make sure the download the correct XP or Vista version of the device drivers which matches the Windows version you are installing.
Shut down your Lenovo laptop as normal, clicking "Start" in the bottom left corner of the screen then "Turn Off Computer." A screen appears with various shut-down options; click "Turn Off." The computer powers down.
Press the square button above the power switch marked with an arched arrow. The computer turns on in "OneKey Recovery System" mode.
Select "Restore to Factory Default" using the arrow buttons and hit "Enter." The computer erases all the information on the C: drive, replacing it with factory default >http://www.vtechsquad.com/lenovo-support/ if you get any issue with your Lenovo notebook/laptop/desktop.
