The model I have is very similar to the RHN-GB model. The problem I am having is it appears that the remote control IGN/ON button is not working. I can manually light the fireplace and if I switch the control knob to "remote", I can turn on the fan. I can also change the temperature. I have replaced the batteries but the IGN/ON button on the remote will not turn the fireplace on. I have contacted ProCom Customer Support and was told that they do not have my remote in stock and the only suggestion to get a replacement is to find one on eBay. I have looked around the interwebz with no luck as there are no ProCom Vent Free Fire Place remotes available anywhere I have searched. Does anyone have/know of a "generic remote" that can be resynced/programmed to work with my fireplace? Any help is greatly appreciated.
