I can't locate the Seiko instructions for your watch anywhere, but I can tell you that most of these digital watches are set in more or less the same fashion, and with a little guidance I think you will be able to sort it out... Let me give you a basic rundown, and you can try to see if you get some results with your watch. There are four buttons, mode, lock, start/stop & lap/reset. These have other functions as well, used to set the time and date, etc. As you are no doubt aware, the mode button cycles through the various functions of time, chronograph, lap counter, etc. It will also be used to change from month to date to hours and minutes, etc. when you adjust the time. Begin with the clock in time mode. Press and hold the lock button until the digital display flashes on and off to set time. Use the start/stop or lap/reset button to advance the month, day, hours, minutes or seconds to the correct setting, then press the mode button once to "highlight" the next setting, adjust it, and press mode again until you have adjusted the time and date. Then press the lock button to save the settings and return to normal display mode. I am enclosing a link to a Timex Expedition instruction manual that has what are essentially the same functions, in case you want to experiment with the chronograph and lap counter as well. It may take a little fiddling, but I think if you are patient you will find that you are able to get the time set using these instructions as a general guideline.
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread. If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!
