How do I set the time on the watch? It won't let me go to each function to set the time. It also won't let me get out of the military time mode

From the "Time Telling Mode" (date/time displayed): to set the date and time: Press "reset" unit the date disappears--release; press "mode", the "hour" will flash, press "st/stp" to adjust hour; press "mode", the "minute" will flash, press "st/stp" to adjust minute; continue same sequence to adjust date; when done, press "reset"
