The grey around the yolk of the egg when hard boiled is due to the sulfur in the yolk. Cook the eggs a little slower, slow simmer, and add a little vinegar and salt to the cooking water. I have also found that we all have the tendency to overcook hard boiled eggs which also helps create the grey around the yolk. I have found that eggs simmered for not more than 12 minutes are hard boiled but don't have as much grey.
