If it's a bluetooth keyboard you simply have to pair it with the iPad. By pair you would go into your iPad, Settings, Bluetooth. Make sure it's bluetooth is switched on then press the button on the top right of the keyboard. I attached a picture of where the button is. After that you should see on your iPad while you still have your bluetooth settings pulled up a new keyboard shows up and it will say not connected. Click on it and it will ask you to enter some keys on the blue tooth keyboard to make sure you got the right one.
I am assuming this is the apple bluetooth keyboard they sell in stores, if it isn't please reply with what type of keyboard you have and I can figure out what button to press.

Hi I have done all that but it doesn't show up on my ipad. It's still searching for devices and I've turned my keyboard on and it's bluetooth
