How do I wire up a F2544 baseboard heater with 220 wire?
I recentley installed new f2544 heaters with double pol therms all new.i have 220 wire.{1red,1blk,1white,1 bare ground.} where do i connect the white whire? i have double breaker ,red and blcak conected to breaker. white and bare at normal spots in breaker box..in the heater itself where do these four whires go?i know where the bare ground goes..can anyone please help i have kids and its getting cold here.

On a 220 volt systen for heating you only use 2 wires blk and red of 12 gauge size. For your question the white you can coil it up in the box and marrette the end then tape it, because you don't need it because there is no neutral in that system. Make it safe.Thank you.
