I have never used one of those mice personally but those small ones should be designed the same way when it comes to the battery door. If you looked on the bottom of the mouse and there is no indication of a battery door, there may be a hidden door on the top of the mouse. Try this and see if it works:
Turn the mouse around with the label facing upside-down. Holding it with both hands, place your thumbs on the left and right side a little below the Kensington label. Using your thumbs, push the top of the mouse forward to see if the cover comes off easily and reveals the battery compartment.
Hold the mouse facing away from you. Put thumbs on top either side of the black middle section, resting on silver cover. Press hard and push away from you to unclip the cover.
