Hi, You can try starting to work from the back of the printer there should be two screws, remove them and then remove the back cover that will allow you to remove the scanner on top and leave you with just the printer mechanism. Once you removed the top part (scanner) then you will see some screws that you will be able to remove and get to the engine parts. I guess that is pretty much it since there is no much to see in this printers. Hope it helps.
Is chance you can tell me HOW to get the back off. I turned it upside down and took out the screws. Is not coming off unless I just break it. Sorry but if turning your printer upside down didn't help, I can only suggest you to contact Lexmark technical support for additional assistance.
