Hi,I dont know if this is eney help but I just bought a tassimo - coffee machine and it sounded just like you described yours, I pluged it in,then I took the water container of the back where I found a yellow disc,(do not remove the bar code from the yellow disc other wise the machine wont work) I inserted the yellow disc where you put the t-pods,then fill water - container and put it back in place,then I switched the on switch on,it should show a yellowy orange light nexst to the silver button,then press and hold the button for 5 seconds and let go,the light will flash and turn green,then give it another 5 seconds then hold the silver button in again it should now despence hot water ,when water stops press the silver button again do this about 4 times,now your machine is ready to use,take the yellow disc out and put it back in the place you got it from, now just put the t-disc you want to drink and have a rest.
