Hi, To check any resistor, set multimeter on OHMS reading and put both prob (red-black) on either end of resistor to take reading on meter. make sure at least one pin should be out of circuit (unsolder one pin to take it out) for correct reading. Usually big resistors value written on it and smaller resistors have color circles that shows its value. Each color circle has specific number to count resistor value.
