Hi from retired Englishman in SW France- its 20:43 Thurs here!
You are likely to find the lint trap/tray/filter behind the cover which goes across the bottom at the front. On some machines the cover is held in by a couple of (plastic) screws which turn just 90 degrees anticlockwise to undo. On others it simply pulls off (and clicks back on again).
HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE VERY HANDY UNDER THIS NEXT COVER-
Once removed you should find the round 'cover' for the filter which also turns anticlockwise. It may or may not have the filter/lint tray attached to it. If not you should be able to just pull it out and clear it. Putting back is the reverse!!
It is well worthwhile checking the filter on a regular basis as, if it becomes blocked, the water will not be able to drain properly. Also, if your water supply is 'hard' i.e. has lots of calcium in it (like ours) the calc CAN build up and not allow the cover and filter to come out very easily. Clearing any calc is a must. Also if your water is hard again it is well worth regularly de-calcing the machine with a sachet of propriatory anticalc powder. I do ours about every 3 months.

Hope this all helps,
