Hi, In all these lcd tv sets with built in dvd players and in ordinary dvd players, the dvd eject action is carried out by an eject motor. The eject action stops in older sets because the belt on this motor gets loose and so fails to provide the needed force to the eject mechanism. Secondly the plastic eject mechanism also gets jammed due to dust or dried up grease. In both the cases the set has to be opened and the disc has to be taken out by operating the mechanism manually.
I you can't do it with the Remote control, you might be able to do it on the TV itself. I'm not positive about this, but there should be a button on the back outer-edge of the TV that may control the DVD player.
