How do you get the toner cartridge out
I opened the machine but only one side of the toner cartridge seems to move - the other side appears to be locked.

These cartridges have to be in the "home" position before removal/replacement. Just close the machine back up, turn it on and let it cycle. This may take several minutes if the machine is out of toner. Let it run unitil it COMPLETELY shuts down (quits running). The toner bottle will then be at it's home position and you should be able to remove it very easily.
