Thank you for posting your question here on Fixya.com. Lock the shaft using a wrench at the end where the electric leads connect. Then spin the impeller off counter-clockwise. If it has the large stainless steel screw in the middle of the impeller. remove the screw by REVERSE (clockwise) direction. Then expose the opposite end of the shaft by removing the rear cover to secure the shaft under the points. Turn the impeller in the counterclockwise direction.
