How do you remove the start stop switch mounted on the rope pull housing on the coleman 5000 powermate 7500 watt unit. You can't get the housing off without removing the start stop switch

Without seeing it, they usual have enough lead length to allow the cover to be moved so you can get to the wire, The switch usually has a blade with a slide connector that can be removed.
