Look on page 4 of the parts manual. Look at item "C" with circle around it. This is the water float. It is probably stuck. If it does not move during start up, the machine registers as if there is no water in the sump so it stays in the "Fill" cycle and will not go into the freeze cycle. Tap on this and see if it starts to function. You can also drain the water out of the sump and take this float apart and clean it. Just be sure not to break the small rod across the bottom of the assy that holds the float in the assy. Good Luck and hope this helps you out.
