How do you turn off the moen 82691 shower valve when new
I replaced an old, hard to operate valve. The new valve is either stuck or I'm not smart enough to figure out how to shut it off..It is off when the knob/handle is centered. But that doesn't give any adjustment. At that point shouldn't water be coming out? Dan

The stem in faucet may be in faucet upside down . you can try taking handle off remove nut that holds stem take it out make sure
you turn water off before doing this.
