The unit is completely plug and play. Simply plug the USB connector from the Floppy into the computer, the unit will be detected and installed automatically on any Windows XP, Vista, or Win 7 computer. Installing the external drive takes no more than two minutes, usually less. Once installed the floppy will be displayed into My computer, along with the other drives, exactly as if it was an internal drive, and it will be ready to use.
That happens when the disk has lost format, or when the floppy used originally to read and write the disk had a wrong Azimuth orientation.
In both situation the floppy won't be readable.
