Hello there: here is what you can try to do is first unplug any power going to the unit and remove the battery these units have a internal reset device that will reset it'self after a given amount of time which is about 1 hour. during this time press in on the power button for 2 minutes and if it has a reset button it press in on this for 2 min leave the battery and the power out of the unit for the rest of the remaining time i had mentioned. now plug in the power cord back in it and start the unit now if it works ok simply turn off and replace the battery and you are now done ok Hope this is very helpful for you Best regards Michael
We do have the GPX issue resolved, but are finalizing some other fixes for the software update. We're still targeting end of DEC timeframe.
In regards to writing the recorded tracklog to GPX, that can be done albeit it's not as intuitive as I'd like it to be:
By default the Endura is always recording. (1) Go to main menu via menu hardkey (2) Choose SETTINGS/TRAIL LOGGING (3) From there you can ENABLE/DISABLE and other settings (time interval, etc)
Then to save that trail (per email from last week): (1) From the MAIN MENU, choose FIND / TRAILS (2) You'll see a list of all previously saved trails with the first entry being CURRENT TRAIL, choose CURRENT TRAIL (3) You'll come to a trail summary page, choose MORE OPTIONS in lower right corner (4) You now have the option of SAVE/RESET/CANCEL, choose SAVE (5) (you then have the option of SAVE ALL / LAST 24-HOURS / SELECT FROM MAP) (6) Note: it will default the name of the GPX file to: TRAIL0001 (or whatever next sequential number is), but you can highlight the name and change it

Check your folders in your internal memory for the POI's.
Try removing the installer placed on your GPS internal memory, power down and restart. If that doesn't work try reinstalling the update a second time with a downloaded version of the update rather than from the website. Otherwise, contact CS about doing a system reset followed by a new installation of the update on your unot

My Endura Out & Back was frozen on the boot screen. I tried removing the batteries and holding the power button for 2 min, and then waiting an hour and attempting a restart. This worked for awhile, but recently no longer helps. However, removing the batteries, then replacing them followed by holding the "down" arrow button and power button at the same time for a few seconds seems to reboot the unit. Just make sure the SD card is not in the GPS unit.
