The adjustment screw is parallel to the bar. Look from the nose of the bar toward the engine the adjuster is the screw head just to the right of the bar (order follows): 1. - Engine, 2. - bar, 3. - guide bar plate (flared portion away from the engine), 4. - finally the clutch cover.
