Near the throttle control assy on the engine the cable has 1 clamp on it. It should be very near the end of the cable shielding. Losen the clamp and move the throttle control until the cable EXTENDS out of the shielding and re-tighten the cable clamp. You may have to do the trial and error on the adjustment but usually is should not have to be moved more than 1/4 inch from the original position unless the cable clamp over the shielding was loose to begin with.
