What is the cheapest way to connect a T1200 scanner to a modern laptop (running XP) which only has USB ports? Can any old printer adapter cable do the job or does the cable have to support "SCSI" communication?

I was thinking this one would do and then I started reading forums about the SCSI cable (about 10 times the price)
