On older tv sets there are limited inputs...one for video and one for audio.. Find the white output hole for video on the back and run the cable to the set, and as for the audio there will be 2 red output holes (left and right on your dvd/vcr combo unit) this will use a special cable you can buy at radio shack that converts the left and right to just one output(it's like a "y" looking chord. it will still work if you just use one audio chord "out" from the dvd/,vcr unit but you will be hearing only one side of the "Stereo" plug these into the back of your old set the white is for video and the red is for audio.
