How to cutoff bump head on a ryobi string trimmer

Holding the line head trying to remove the knob to unscrew it just clicks and won't come loose

If the knob is stuck in the pushed in position it will just click , try and pull it out then unscrew it

The bump knob is up position and trying to unscrew it just clicks wont come loose
