Check the oil level or any other alarm that can stop it. The switch may have lost its middle stable position and drop directly to stop. Try after you have the switch up for starting, let it easy back in middle position. If there it stops again. Try to move the switch down to "Stop". You should hear a click. If not replace the switch with the same type.
