How to get a TV picture via the rear terminals
I get a TV picture and sound when I connect an RCA plug input to the side terminals of my Toshiba 42HL800A TV but not when I connect to the rear terminals. Selecting TV2, TV 3 input makes no difference.

Probably because the side terminals are IN{PUT} terminals (A/V signals from the source go into the TV) and the rear terminals are OUT terminals. Please read the labels next or under the terminals to make sure.
