Memory slots are usually underneath a panel on the under side of your notebook. Usually under a panel that looks decent sized and in the middle. You will see a screw holding the panel down. Before opening the bags the memory came in(which prevents them from getting hit by a static charge) You should have a ground strap ready before touching the actual memory otherwise you could pass on the static charge to the memory and that is not too good it could render them unusable. You can now remove the screws from the panel and remove the panel you should see the old memory if there is none for some reason then you will see the slots. Pull away on the clips holding the memory in place and the module should just pop out facing foward. Now you can pull it out just give it a gentle tug. Once the pair have been removed because the one underneath will need to be done the same way. You can install the new ones. You will need to do the underneath one first by installing in the slot at a foward angle when you feel it fit into the slot (make sure you feel that it went all the way into the slot) then puch back on it and you should hear clicks. Those were the clips that are now holding that bad boy in place. You follow the same steps for the second module on top.Now replace panel and screw(s) Now when you power it on you should not have gotten any errors or problems. then you can check to make sure that the correct amount of memory is now installed. hope this helped. .
That should be covered in your laptop manual. If you don't have manaul go to this link. from here you need to know your OS should take you to manuals. http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us I found this Version E4452 good luck. PS most extra ram is on the bottom of your laptop you have to remove a screw and cover then install the ram. check the manual first....
