How to get wi fi at home for itouch?
I have an itouch and satellite internet at home.Running through a
linksys BEFSR81 cable/dsl router w/ 8 port switch, all hard wired (cat5) I want to to use the itouch at home on a wi fi connection. Can I just purchase a wireless router and hook the sat. modem to that, then cat5 between my router and the wireless router?(port to port) If so, can I use "g" or "n" technology on the wireless router. My average speed on my internet conn. ranges from 300-512 kbps.
Thanks so much!!!

Your better bet is a wireless access point. It plugs into your router and can be configured to be transparent to the network so that any IP address you get for your wireless device comes from the original router (better for networking).
At the blinkingly fast speeds of your Wireless internet, "N" is a waste. Get the "G". Here's a link to the product I would use...it runs about $50. http://www.tplink.com/products/product_des.asp?id=116
