HOW TO INSTALL 2GB MEMORY IN MY 1GB MEMORY NOTEBOOK
I JUST RECENTLY PURCHASED AN ACER ASPIRE one A0532h NOTEBOOK. WHILE RESEARCHING THE PRODUCT ONLINE IT WAS RECOMMENDED TO UPGRADE THE MEMORY TO 2GB TO IMPROVE THE NETBOOKS' SPEED. I PURCHASED THE CRUCIAL 256MB(2GB) MEMORY WHICH WAS RECOMMENDED AS COMPATIBLE. PLEASE ADVISE ME ON THE STEPS SO THAT I (AN ABSOLUTE COMPUTER LAYPERSON) MAY INSTALL THIS MYSELF. THANK YOU - jas

Hi, first you will require a small phillips/cross head screwdriver, turn your notebook over so you are looking at the bottom, you should see either one or two panel's with small screws in them, undo the screws and lift the panel ( dependent on the type of system you have 1 or 2 panels ) if you do not find the memory under the first one , then try the other one, once located, the chip will be in a holder with two clips either side of it, push these clips out to the side at the same time gently (as not to over do it ) then the memory should pop up slightly take note of the small cut out in the memory stick ( it will only go in one way ) then remove it by pulling up lightly on it at same time pulling out of the holder, to fit new one, put in holder at a slight angle upwards, then gently push it into the holder, and at same time push the chip down the 2 clips either side should click when fitted just replace the cover and there you have it...hope this helps please vote thanks
