If it's like most above-the-range microwaves, there will be 2 or 3 screws holding it from above, inside the cabinet While supporting the unit from below, remove screws. The rear of the unit is supported by hooking onto a bracket that is screwed to the wall behind it. The rear needs to be lifted, then the unit should pull away from the wall. Requires some muscle.
