There are two thermistors. The one most likely the issue is the one one the bottom of the outer drum. Videos on YouTube or repairclinic.com or appliancepartspros.com will show takintop off, taking control panel off, then finally taking front of washer off. Then very easy to replace gat pesky $6 part. If you are slightly dexterous, you can turn washer on it's side(if you don't have a pedestal), and replace the thermistor directly by reaching around a bit. Good luck.
