The one that has a stem and 4 buttons is set by holding in the set button until the seconds start flashing. The set button is the one that's recessed slightly. There should also be a button for the light and two other buttons. Forget about the light button for now. One of the two other buttons is liks an "advance" button, and the other is the "change" button. If you press the Advance button, the minutes will be flashing instead of the seconds. Us the other button, the Change button, to change the minutes until they are correct. Press Advance again and the hours will start flashing, and press Change to change them. Pressing Advance again will get you to the date, and you use the Change button to change the day and date the same way as you did with the hours and minutes. If you mess up, you can keep hitting Advance until you get back to where you were, and then use the Change button again until it's correct. Once the time and date are set, press Set again to get back to Normal timekeeping mode, and you're done. If this is the Expedition watch with two stems instead of buttons, you have to use the bottom stem to set the hands, and the top stem sets everything else. Rotate the top stem until the word TIME appears and the time shows in the display. Pull that stem out ONE click to change the hours, then rotate it until the number changes. Then, pull it out more for a SECOND click, and change the minutes by rotating the stem. When done, press the stem all the way back down. The date is basically the same, rotate the top stem until DATE appears, then pull out ONE click and rotate for the month, then pull the stem out a little further for the SECOND click and rotate to change the day. Press back down to save it if you have any further questions message me back and please rememeber to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to help others in similar situations thanks rick
