Are you the Administrator of the Computer. You cannot Perform an Uninstallation without Appropriate Permissions.
If you have Admin Rights: Are you suing the "Add/Remove Programs" Utility to Perform the Uninstallation? That will not help.
You must use their Uninstallation Link.
Click on Start -> All Programs -> Eset -> Uninstall.
After Installing the Product Make sure that you can see the Hidden Folders.
Click Start -> My Computer and then navigate to and delete the following folders:
C:Program FilesESET C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication >
Windows Vista and Windows 7 Users must delete the following folders:
C:Program FilesESET C:Program >
If you are using Windows 2000/ Home Server/ XP/ 2003/ 2003 (R1)/ (R2)/ Vista:
Download this Application to your Computer (use the link).
Boot the System in to Safe Mode (Hit F8 several time befor e the System Boots Windows (After the BIOS messages - POST)
Double Click on this. Its doesn't have a GUI. Just a CUI (Character User Interface and not a Graphical one).
Read the Warning and Press "Y" Key (in the key board).
Enter the Product Sequence Number (1 usually if you have one product installed). Just type "1".
Then Identify the Operating System and Press "Y" Key again.
If successful it will Indicate that. Press Any Key to "Exit" and Boot the machine Normally.
However, if you are using Windows 7 / 2008/ 2008 R2:
Use this Application.
Save the Download to the "Desktop".
Boot in to Safe Mode.
Type cmd in the Search box located at the bottom of the "Start Menu".
Type cd desktop and hit Enter to go to the "Desktop".
Type ESETUninstaller.exe/reinst and hit Enter.
Other steps are as exactly Same as the above Uninstallation for Other Applications.
