Logitech mouseware must be installed for this to work.
Go to the mouse properties and select the drag lock button and set it to "Unassign" in Logitech -> Mouseware -> Mouse Properties. Click the "Buttons" tab. Scroll down to button "4" and select. Click Modify button and select "Unassigned" And Click "OK" Button, Click "Apply" button. The lock icon will go away and never come back.
