How to use ?? with Mac I don't seam to have software? have been trying to use a long time but have never got very far? I should have taken Firewire back to shop?? when i connect firewire cable to port on mac and firewire to hard drive does not appear on desktop. thanks, Marion

Go to the start menu select my computer. then plug in the device if the device does not pop up you are not getting a connection. check the device to see if the part that goes in the usb port is not loose or have any malfunctions. if you open my computer and you see it when you plug it in double click the port its in to open
