You will need to open the computer case and check that the cables that run from the actual power button to the motherboard are plugged into the proper spot on the motherboard. Sometimes reseating the cable can fix this issue.

Hi, You must put the right connector switch to the right place If you can read the connector rail on the board where the front panel switch should be connected, use a magnifying glass or the boards manual to read those micro tags. Read the front panel connection manual, check the wiring of the panel, and seperate the POWER SWiTCH, RESET SWiTCH, LED LiGHT, HDD LiGHT, PWR LED LiGHT, and SPEAKER connector harness! Label them if they have no label connections. Tell us if you have more problem. Hope that helps!
