HP Compaq NC6000. Motherboard has partial short on it and cuts out charger when it's connected. Laptop won't start up on battery either. Looking for suggestions at component level. On diode scale MM indicates 175 one way (black to neg, red to pos) and infinity the other. Good board indicates infinity both ways
