Ok it usually depends on the company the phone was designed for (at&t Verizon Alltel) ... but in general cdma (verizon alltel no sim card) phones are all the same lg world wide are the same and gsm at&t sim card) phones vary tmda (sprint t mobile) are always different from cdma phones now try these codes defaults for almost all phones made in the last ten years are one of these: the last four digits of your phones number or if it hasnt been active a while try the last four digits of the phone number last programmed to it. like if you got a phone in a garage sale and you get home and its locked and you dont know the code call the person you bought it from ask them for the last four digits of their number they last used the phone on this is usually the resolution if it doesnt work standard defaults usually do 9999,1111,1234,4231,or lastly 0000 if none of these work contact your provider at a retail store location they can for free hook your phone to the computer and push the software to correct it into the phone its called flashinf the phone tel the rep you need a flash please rate me and let me know if you have any other trouble Ill do what I can to help you if for any reason this doesnt solve the problem
Do you have a TMO Dash? If so you can perform a master reset. ****NOTE**** this will erase any settings or content you have on the phone. With the phone off you can hold the left and right soft key and tap the power button once. This is a hard reset and will restore all factory settings.
so Turn off your phone, then press both *SOFT KEYS* and *POWER ON* device. After moment release both soft keys. On the black screen asking for confirmation press *GREEN PHONE BUTTON* and wait couple minutes for phone to initialize.
