Hubs screw bit is too short for pegs
I have a mongoose bmx bike but I don't know wich one it was made around the year 2000 - 2005 it has mongoose hubs on it and the screw bit is small size I went and bought the right sized pegs and when I went to put them on my bike the screw bit for the hub was too short to put pegs on

The "hubs screw is called an axle, and you did not really ask a question. Unless you want to depend on the pegs to hold your wheel on you will need to get a longer axle and take apart the entire hub to replace it.
