I have a Humax drt800 with a lifetime subscription that wouldn't boot up. I removed a DVD that was in it and tried a hard reset. when that didn't work, I purchased a used Humax Tivo and switched in the newly purchased harddrive. It also won't get past the Welcome screen . If it makes a difference, I didn't purchase a DVD recorder, but just the Humax Tivo, and took the harddrive from that
