humming noise coming from the wiper motor. Tried replacing it, but got the same result.(buzzing). Returned new motor. Checked 2 fuses one under the dashboard and one under the hood. Both were good

I have a how to tip for exactly this same problem with 2005 Tahoe. Do a fixya search for FIX 2005 TAHOE REAR WIPER.
SAME PROBLEM IN MY YUKON, CHECK THE GROUND, PUT A NEW GROUND WIRE TO THE REAR WIPER MOTOR.....
The short will be in the ground will be where the hatch wire harness plugs into the body harness. take apart and clean then apply delectric grease. Mine started right up.
