I am a Pinnacle Studio user
I understand that Avid Liquid 7 is even better thatn Studio. How would I use Studio projects with Avid.

Avid is a complete different animal. The logic is backwards from Pinnacle or premiere. If you're used to those, Avid will seem like a forgeign language. Also, projects aren't compatible with Avid.
