I am experiencing the same problem
What a relief to read this here. Thought I'd picked up a zombie or something but none of my anti-virus programs detected anything worse than a tracking cookie.
Is there a solution or do I just buy a new keyboard? A shame too as I like my Eclipse.

My Saitek Eclipse has gone possessed as well. It happened after a hardcore weekend of on-line FEAR 2 gaming months ago.
It seems to be at it again, with the Windows search trying to change prgram defaults and access settings, the "asasasasasasasasasasasasasasasasasasasasassasasasasas", and the "jdfsk" jibberish using the return key on the number pad.
It is going to be smashed to pieces and I am off to buy a PS/2 keyboard at lunch today.
It was fun for a while, quiet, and the LEDs were cool, but they have lost their power and appeal.
Try the keyboard in another computer.
Try another keyboard in your computer.
If another keyboard works in your computer, and your keyboard fails in both computers, then it's time to replace the keyboard.
