The motor must move the drive pulley for calibration to pass. remove rear covers and check drive belt. you should hear the lwr board relay click to engage the motor. if you hear it and the motor does not move and you have checked the belt then you need to test the motor. Typically remove the belt and turn by hand...it should be very smooth and spin freely. If not replace the motor. Direct 9 volts to the motor leads unplugged from the board will tell you if the motor is good. be careful as capacitors are present and risk of shock is always possible. capacitors stay charged for about 10 mins after unit is unplugged
I followed this procedure and it took care of the problem. Thanks, Beethoven1964I followed this procedure and it took care of the problem. Thanks, Beethoven1964
When I check the tabs on the circuit board that go to the motor I see about 14 votes but you say 9 votes. wont calibrate, speed sensor checks ok, motor won't run but easily turns. What could be wrong??When I check the tabs on the circuit board that go to the motor I see about 14 votes but you say 9 votes. wont calibrate, speed sensor checks ok, motor won't run but easily turns.
