I am still looking for a users manual for this unit myself. I can tell you that you don't have HDMI connections on this unit to run to your TV, but that the DVD player component does have Component, S-Video & Composite video outputs. Those are listed in order of best to worst video quality.
For your new 60", you really want to run the three cable component video connection from the Nakamichi DVD player straight to your TV, rather that the S-Video monitor out from the AV tuner/processor unit.
Ideally, I suspect you will wanting an HD Blu-Ray player to really make use of the size and clarity of your display, in which case you will run HDMI or component cables directly from the BR player to the TV.
